Effective Communication

One of the greatest factor  that contributes to your office image is communication.  How the office communicates with its clients / patients can make or break that relationship.  Many people don't even think about communication until it's too late.  This seminar  answers questions like: When to call?  What to say? How to say it?  When to say it?  How to track your calls.  How to write great notes (The six elements of a great note) when tracking your calls.

When a call won't do you can always write a letter.  We discuss when to send a letter, how to draft a letter, mail merging and tracking your letters. Often marketing goes hand in hand with communications.  We'll look at creating a newsletter of your own, a true news-letter for clients / patients.

Harmony

This seminar takes "edutainment" to a new level.  Designed to explain how your staff /organization / company / office will create harmony in the workplace.  It's the word harmony that really sings in this seminar.  In a theatre style setup, Chris, along with three other professional singers, present organizational structure, while drawing parallels to the quartet on stage.  As you learn, you are entertained.  Each member of the quartet is featured, while his part is examined and correlated.  As the parts are explored, the harmony begins to build.  Eventually, the quartet is working in perfect harmony - it's at this point that they are ready to present a show.  Depending on the seminar length, the show can last from fifteen minutes to an hour.

No More Patient Receivables
It goes without saying that we would all like to have less receivables.  Now with the correct policies, even if your office accepts the insurance portion directly (assignment), you could have no more patient receivables.  We’ll talk about a practical approach to reducing your receivables quickly and with time possibly eliminate them for good.
  • Retrain the patients
  • Create patient policies
  • Just what to say

“One” Voice
In today’s office environment there are many factors that can expose you to unnecessary confrontations and frustrations – from staff attrition (knowledge walking out the door) to CCS (Client Comment Selection - patient pick what they want to hear).

It would be comforting to know: that even if your staff walked out today the new staff could instantly access all the client's knowledge gathered by your old staff.

It would be comforting to know: when a client asks any staff member a question they hear basically the same answer.

It would be comforting to know: that each team members will share all their knowledge of each client  with the team.

All this is possible with “One” Voice.  Create a unified system within your office that will guarantee consistent communication with your patients while assuring accuracy, integrity, and politeness.

Learn how to:

  • Pick the right "voice"

  • Develop that voice

  • Motivate the team to get involved

  • Support that voice

What You Could Have Said - Silver Tongue

This is a great two part seminar for customer service / patient management.  The first half covers general problems / situations that occur with customers or patients - while offering different solutions / techniques.  We cover everything from  wrong techniques through the good, better, best, and right up to the more assertive techniques.  This helps those attending the seminar realize that they are not the only one dealing with these problems and situations.  This first part is an open forum format that creates much discussion and interaction between the speaker and audience which naturally leads to the second half of the seminar, which is role playing.

The role playing  works best with audience participation.  Whether they only offer situations for discussion or get directly involved in the role play, each audience member will benefit from this exercise.  It is not necessary that anyone participate but it is difficult not too.
